About me... hmm... where do I start? What do you want to know? What should I tell you? Well, I love photography, in particular I love photographing people. I'm a very curious (some would say nosey) person. I find people and the stories they have to tell fascinating. I'm that person in the queue who will chat to the old lady about the weather - I just can't help myself.Oh... and I absolutely adore weddings. I'm a romantic at heart and for me nothing says romance more, than when a couple declares their love for each other to the whole world! Photographing a couple's big day is the greatest honour anyone could bestow upon me.Shooting with me is fun, people relax around the camera - capturing some amazing moments. However, the best moment for me, is when the couple see their album for the first time; no words are necessary, their faces say it all!
I've been photographing weddings since 2009 and no two have ever been the same. With that mind, I tailor my wedding packages to you exact requirements. So please do get in touch and tell me all about your wedding!
Things I need to know:
When is it? Lets make sure I'm free
Where is it? I travel all over the country and beyond
What's your style? Vintage with a twist? Fabulously Chic? All that glitters?
How much photography coverage would you like?
Would you like a stunning, leather embossed, fine art wedding album that will wow anyone when you hand it to them?
In 2007, after working for 10 years in the publishing industry as an art editor, I decided it was time for a change. I had studied photography at art college and completely fell in love with it - shooting with creative lighting, processing my own films (yes, these were the days before digital) - I can still remember the smell of developer fluid and the excitement of waiting for your image to appear, as if by magic!
During my career designing for magazines, my love for photography grew still further and played an important part in my role, not only commissioning and briefing photographers for features, but often assisting and directing the shoots. My experience over these 10 years has influenced my style as a photographer and I naturally approach all my projects as if they were features, providing a range of images from close-ups to wide angle shots, but always telling the full story.
Since taking the plunge all those years ago my business has grown from strength-to-strength. I now regularly produce high quality work for magazines, writing, photographing and designing features, and providing commercial photography and design services to the business sector. I still keep my hand in with design - I love it too much to give it up! Plus weddings are seasonal and I'd get bored!
